The fans of hits as Journey, Abzu, Lost Ember and The Spirit of the North will surely enjoy Be A Rock. “Be a Rock” is a walking simulator that immerses the player in the experience of being a rock. While it may sound like an unusual concept, the game’s great visuals create a breathtaking environment that will leave players in awe. The game’s focus on exploration and observation creates a unique experience that can be both calming and thought-provoking. Overall, “Be a Rock” seems like a great option for players who are looking for a change of pace from traditional action-packed games and who enjoy stunning visuals. Congratulations to Theseus for crafting a visually stunning environment and story. Played just before the first patch, so as can be expected I did experience a few glitches here and there. If you are the type of player that likes to push boundaries, recommend playing through first as if you DO get stuck and have to restart the level, your progress does not appear to be saved. All in all, a lovely little experience, well worth the sale price on release.
