Marisa’s Marvelous Magic Shop (v1.1.0)

Enjoy the comical interactions between Marisa and her friends, as you earn money to pay back your loan. – Your first goal is to earn 50,000 yen in the first year, and if you fail, it’s game over. – Develop new products, expand the store, and run promotions to bring in the money. – Fight youkai who come to raid the store in turn-based battles. Kirisame Magic Shop is hidden deep in the forests of Gensokyo. It’s so remote, in fact, that there aren’t any customers. Just as Marisa is despairing over her lack of sales, self-proclaimed management consultant Yukari Yakumo appears. Cirno is added to the team as head of HR, and Marisa sets her sights on rebuilding Kirisame Magic Shop. Difficulty: 7/10 | Despite the simplicity of this project, the game can be very challenging… For like an hour…. After that, you pass a certain milestone and you can pretty much steamroll everything the game throws at you until the end. Lenght: 2/10 | My biggest dissapointment. The game just… ends… It feels incomplete. It seriously does.. IDK what happened during development, but this game needs an Endless mode. You can definitely finish it in 2 – 3 hours. Heck. If you are good enough you can finish the game AND REFUND IT before the 2 hours mark (I lost 3 runs and I’m at 1.4 hours, what?) Value: 10/10 | For $5 Bucks? It’s a fair price, definitely worth every cent. Don’t expect much replayability tho. Graphics : 7/10 | It is a managing game, you really can’t ask much. The UI is comfortable to navigate, the character drawings are charming (not saying they are the best, but they are up there with Zun’s levels of charming), color palette is nice looking, and is just a very peace inducing game. Perfect for relaxing.
