Hike the serene mountains by placing each footstep yourself, in original physics-based gameplay from the minds behind Ape Out and Getting Over It. Take in the sights, fall in love with the local fauna, and try to find meaning in a wasted life. Nate, a 35-year-old “man-child” who lives in his parents’ basement and is socially awkward, reluctant, and largely unmotivated. As Nate treks through this surreal environment, he encounters odd landscapes, environments that challenge his balance, weird characters (including anthropomorphic donkeys), and strange items. Despite the comedic surface, the game also explores themes like futility, failure, identity, and the pressure to “perform” or act competent even when overwhelmed.
