Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil (v1.5.2)

The PC! The sequel to the hit game Turok is now available, featuring a host of enemies, weapons, missions, locations and a new multiplayer mode. Remastered for today’s computers using a new engine with improved graphics, Turok 2 will transport players into sprawling environments with vicious enemies lurking behind every corner. The Dinosaur Hunter Returns Fight your way through 35 different types of enemies with bouncing bellies, blinking eyes, stretching tentacles and snapping jaws. From Prehistoric Raptors, to evolved Flesh Eaters, to your final battle with the Mother of all beasts— you’ll want to defeat all of them! Enemies are intelligent. Smart enough to attack in groups, to flee when they are outgunned, and to take cover during a firefight. Enemies flinch and spasm differently depending on which body part you hit. From a modern perspective: OH BOY has this game not aged well. We still love it regardless. This remaster brings up many QOL improvements to the gameplay, like saving and quick-saving anywhere you want instead of just using the save rooms . get pretty sparse in later levels), also a bigger FOV by default that you can expand even further if you want and many modern graphical amenities like real-time shadows and reflections on water surfaces and some floors. What I said at the beginning still holds true, this is still a fairly satisfying game to play and the soundtrack just got even better with the inclusion of the PC version CD music. (look for the Steam guides and use the music fix, it adds more loops to every song). Unfortunately, this is still a game where it’s pretty easy to get lost –looking at you, Lair of The Blind Ones– and you still need to do plenty of backtracking near the end to pad the game’s lenght unnecessarily.
